
Dr. Ijeoma Dozie
Medical Director
Dr Ijeoma Dozie is a graduate of the University of Jos, Plateau state, from where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery. She is a Consultant Family Physician and a fellow of the Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Dr Dozie holds many certifications, both local and internationally; She is an International Board-certified lifestyle medicine physician, a London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) certified MBA essentials holder, and a United Nations Development Program certified sexuality educator, counsellor, and trainer. In addition, she is a certified Marriage Theologian and Christian counsellor, and a published author in both domestic and international journals including the British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research.
As an ardent public speaker, she has delivered lectures to charities, schools, churches and different organizations and corporations including Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC), National Institute of Management (NIM) Chartered, Heirs Holdings Ltd, amongst others.
Her vast work experience spans both public and private sectors; including Health services Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Imo state as a Medical officer; Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri and Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) both where she underwent her residency training. She also worked as a Consultant Family Physician at Avon Medical Practice, Mobil Producing Unlimit, and at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, as Consultant-in-charge of their Victoria Island and Lekki-free zone branches.
She currently works as Medical Director of Avon Medical Practice, a leading healthcare network in Nigeria, and heads their hospitals and worksite clinics in Lagos, Abuja, Rivers, and Delta states.
